Koekeloer is a collection of three self-catering cottages on Hudson Street, right in the centre of Nieu-Bethesda.

Each one has its own character: antique furniture, oil paintings and rich colours in the cottages, and exposed brick and steel in The Shed. All three are air-conditioned and come with a full kitchen, a private patio and a braai.

Guests notice the extras: good quality linen, strong showers, juice boxes and bottled water, vanity kits and a home that is spotless, "no small feat in a dusty desert town".

Great location in the centre of the village. The rooms are immaculately clean, no small feat in a dusty desert town. The extras are all there: juice boxes, water bottles, vanity kits, good quality linen and great shower pressure.

What an amazing stay. Beautiful and peaceful. The cottage contains only the best and the decor is something you can't stop looking at. Coert is a fabulous person.

I have stayed at many places, but this place was simply the best ever. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Best experience we had in the Karoo. The host was very welcoming and organised, and the little cottage was clean and comfortable.
